Este artigo reúne abordagens conceituais que exploram analiticamente as ações dos coletivos autodenominados museus sociais, territoriais e ecomuseus na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e na Baixada Fluminense. A perspectiva adotada coloca em diálogo teorias dos movimentos sociais, memória coletiva e mobilidades a fim de realizar tal tarefa. Foram tomados dez casos como exemplos, especificando e categorizando suas formas de atuação, propostas e localização, a partir de visitas aos espaços, entrevistas com participantes dos coletivos e análise de dados disponíveis. A análise indica que a prática de musealização permite que os coletivos materializem suas demandas nos territórios e transformem práticas urbanas.

Development accompanied by urbanisation results in unplanned consequences which increases inequalities. Urban societies are generally recognised as centres of prosperity, while they cultivate prominent disparities making individuals into the margins based on social dimensions. The state Kerala is renowned for its achievement in the social development arena, garnering the 'Kerala model of development'. However, literature reveals inequalities and exclusion within the 'celebrated developmental experiences' pointing out more inclusive approaches for addressing the marginality. Urbanisation in Kerala emerged rapidly from the 21st century which led to a growth spurt in urban societies and paradoxically, the growth was accompanied by a faster growth rate in slums rather than cities. The empirical evidence from previous research points out critical challenges to the promising inclusive development that the Kerala model has acclaimed. The study conceptualises Lefebvre's production of space and other sociological frameworks, further interpreted by several theorists to scrutinise the factors influencing urban marginalisation. The adoption of the macro-meso-micro approach identifies the reciprocation ranging from broader urban policies to individual perceptions. The paper is an attempt to draw a picture of urban marginality in Thopp lane, Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, adhering to the theoretical framework and empirical evidence employing an explanatory sequential mixed-method research design, combining quantitative and qualitative data. The study utilised survey questionnaires for census survey and Focus group discussions along with in-depth interviews for addressing the narrations of lived realities. The proposed macro-meso-micro approach examines the broader urban
policies, local community dynamics addressing community cohesiveness as well as territorial stigma and individual perceptions along with experiences of marginality. The study also applies social work interventions through which the researcher not only gathered data but also applied participatory approaches leading to the development of grassroot level solutions for the existing problems of the community, especially regarding the waste management. The paper contributes to the literature on urban marginalisation by examining the gaps between the promising policies and empirical realities.

What holds Indonesia together? The question suddenly became urgent when widespread demonstrations amidst economic crisis forced the authoritarian President Suharto to step down in May 1998. Secessionist movements were active in Papua, Aceh and East Timor. When communal violence broke out in Maluku, Central Sulawesi and parts of Kalimantan, the word 'disintegration' suddenly leapt into the public discourse in Indonesia. For a while, no country in the world had more experts wondering aloud what the decisive national glue factor was. This dark question even began to overshadow hopeful ones concerning prospects for democracy and prosperity. Many thought society was so fractious that, without a strong figure at the top, the country would Balkanize, fall into religious fundamentalism, or descend into economic chaos. One foreign journalist wrote: 'Diplomats in Jakarta sometimes debate whether it is the breakup of the Soviet Union or of the former Yugoslavia that offers the better illustration of how things could fall apart in this country.'1 Similar fears had preoccupied foreign policy specialists in the mid-1960s as the previous strong figure, Sukarno, grew frail. Both then and more recently, some with longer experience of the country spoke more optimistically about the strength of nationalism, the common language, and about the tolerance and pluralism that have always characterized these Southeast Asian people. In between the pessimists and optimists were those who simply felt Indonesia would somehow 'muddle on.' In the context of contemporary capitalism, emancipative social movements must resist intimidation not only through official repression by the state apparatus (through police's brutality and sometimes through military interventions); the illegal, criminal side of capitalism also threatens emancipative struggle. Within this framework, the real and potential role of the 'hyperprecariat' (i.e., the workers who depend on-and often were expelled to-the informal sector in semi-peripheral countries, and who work and live under very vulnerable conditions) is a key one. Criminal attempts to co-opt, to silence, to neutralize the social force of emancipative social movements have been already a daily experience in several cities and countries. The main trouble for emancipative urban movements is that the 'enemies' they have to face inside segregated spaces, and who belong to the 'hyperprecariat', do not seem to be-strictly in terms of social class-'enemies' at all. 'Micro-level warlords' such as drug traffickers operating in the sphere of retail sales recruit their 'soldiers' (and are themselves recruited) among poor, young people in the shanty towns. Nevertheless, these armed young people frequently intimidate and repress urban activists. Considering this problem, emancipative social movements have to learn to be a countervailing power not only regarding the state apparatus and the legal side of capitalist economy, but also in relation to ordinary criminal forces-which are usually totally adapted to capitalist values, 'logic' and patterns of behaviour. The aim of this paper is to discuss the 'new' challenges for social movements in the context of what I termed a 'phobopolis' -a city whose inhabitants experience a very complex situation of diffuse violence and widespread fear -and considering the role of the 'hyperprecariat in guns'. The present paper analyses examples primarily from Brazil (Sections 1 and 2), but also from Argentina and South Africa (first part of Section 3), before elaborating the theoretical contributions (in the last part of Section 3). 'As new developments show in the so-called highly developed economies, this nomadic 'multi-activity'-until now mainly a feature of female labour in the West-is not a premodern relic but a rapidly spreading variant in the late work-societies, where attractive, highly skilled and well-paid full-time employment in on way out.' Este ensayo mapea las coordenadas de Elena Ferrante como un fenómeno literario global y, en particular, en relación con la disciplina de los estudios clásicos y la construcción de la personalidad autoral de Ferrante dentro de la tradición literaria clásica. Además, explora figuras femeninas recurrentes que Ferrante toma prestadas del mito griego, creando de hecho su propia mitología femenina. Este proceso es examinado en el libro infantil de Ferrante La muñeca olvidada (2007), una historia sobre una muñeca abandonada en la playa que reconfigura el mito de Ariadna. Al observar La muñeca olvidada a través de los lentes del mito griego, el ensayo argumenta que los textos de Ferrante no solo absorben y revisan a autores masculinos clásicos, sino que también reinventan figuras femeninas abandonadas de la tradición grecorromana. This essay maps the coordinates of Elena Ferrante as a global literary phenomenon and in particular, in relation to the discipline of Classics and the construction of Ferrante’s authorial persona within the Classical literary tradition. It further explores recurring female figures that Ferrante borrows from Greek myth, in effect creating her own feminine mythology. This process is examined in Ferrante’s children’s book La spiaggia di notte (2007), the story of a doll abandoned on the beach which reconfigures the myth of Ariadne. By looking at La spiaggia di nottte through the lens of Greek myth, the essay argues that Ferrante’s texts not only absorb and revise classical male authors, but also reimagine abandoned female figures from the Greco-Roman tradition. It is their stories, filtered through an embodied female subjectivity, that inhabit her texts, engendering new, modern, mythologies about women’s minds and bodies, about mothers and daughters, femininity, and agency.

With security being one of the basic human needs, public safety has become a contemporary determinant of well-being and quality of life. Accordingly, since residential estates are the arena of many people's daily life, safety in selected public areas is a very important issue nowadays. The study analyzes public safety levels in a residential estate. The structure of the estate and the presence of facilities that could affect the residents' safety were analyzed. A survey was conducted among members of a local community. The results were used to identify areas characterized by various levels of public safety and to develop a map of safety threats in the analyzed estate.

La dialectología es una rama de la lingüística que analiza la variación geográfica y sociolingüística de las lenguas en el espacio. Ahora bien, tradicionalmente el componente espacial en la dialectología suele limitarse a la ubicación de la variación lingüística sin tener en cuenta otros aspectos geográficos que se pueden medir. Teniendo esto en cuenta, este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación realizada para determinar la existencia de una relación cuantitativa relevante entre variables lingüísticas y variables geográficas mediante el diseño de un modelo espacial; en él se incorporan datos léxicos del Atlas Lingüístico-Etnográfico de Colombia (alec), metadatos recolectados durante la expedición del atlas e información de distintos fenómenos geográficos de los territorios explorados. Entre los resultados, la evaluación explicada por el Índice de Autocorrelación Espacial sugiere que las variables aptitud agroclimática, precipitación, distancia geográfica y vías de acceso muestran la mayor dependencia espacial bivariante en relación con la distancia lingüística. El tratamiento de esta interacción dentro del modelo geográfico mixto autorregresivo de regresión espacial ratifica dicha dependencia corroborando así la relación entre la variación lingüística y los fenómenos geográficos.

This article embarks on a detailed exploration of Lisbon's evolving linguistic landscape, focusing on a specific neighborhood shaped by mass tourism and migration. Lisbon, traditionally considered a monolingual society, has experienced significant linguistic diversification due to globalization, making it an ideal context for studying how languages coexist and interact in urban spaces. Drawing from linguistic landscape research and sociolinguistic theories, this study examines how Asian immigrant communities, alongside international tourists, contribute to the city's dynamic linguistic environment. Our data collection, conducted through a combination of conversational interviews and photographic analysis, resulted in a corpus of 143 signs from a neighborhood densely populated by Asian immigrants. We show that the neighborhood's linguistic landscape is not just shaped by practical communication needs but also reflects deeper socio-cultural dynamics, such as identity preservation and economic adaptation to tourism. This research contributes to the growing field of linguistic landscapes by analyzing how immigrant languages, local languages, and global languages coexist and influence each other in Lisbon. It highlights the challenges and opportunities posed by globalization in urban environments and suggests pathways for fostering greater linguistic inclusivity and intercultural dialogue in multicultural cities like Lisbon.

In this chapter, we will journey to eleven global contexts to investigate some concrete examples of the interplay between religion and urban life. Readers who have not experienced these cities first-hand may wish to explore them as we do in my classes – by visiting them virtually using Google Street View. Crucially, my conception of religion is not limited to beliefs, creeds, and texts, but also incorporates material things, buildings, technological devices, and embodied practices (Langer this volume). Correspondingly, I do not understand religion’s influence to be confined to private domains; it is an active force shaping – and shaped by – urban life at large.

Com base na interlocução com um empreendedor social e “sujeito periférico” da zona Sul de São Paulo, abordo neste artigo as contradições do empreendedorismo enquanto prática na experiência popular. Sob o impacto das mudanças sentidas na periferia na sequência das transformações no mundo do trabalho e no acesso ao consumo, o relato de João Vicente expõe uma renovação do ativismo em diálogo com formas de empreendedorismo social. Oprimidos pelo mundo do trabalho e movidos por uma utopia de liberdade, jovens periféricos se veem enredados entre a precariedade de suas alternativas e a necessidade de gerar renda. O núcleo do texto acompanha a trajetória de João Vicente e seus itinerários entre classes sociais, cultura periférica e engajamento político. Por fim, concluo que a adesão ao empreendedorismo entre jovens periféricos é resultado das novas condições de sociabilidade nas periferias urbanas entre sofrimentos e expectativas do futuro.

L'interesse per il turismo culturale nelle aree interne, per quanto esso sia spesso richiamato nelle politiche e strategie di sviluppo locale, appare non ancora sufficientemente sostenuto da ricerche su casi studio particolari e sembra attualmente indebolito da un pensiero portato a estendere sulle aree interne e marginali i rischi e le criticità che il turismo manifesta nei grandi centri metropolitani. Il contributo, entro una cornice ermeneutica territorialista, intende approfondire il caso studio del Festival di Poesia Paolo Prestigiacomo di San Mauro Castelverde evidenziando l'apporto che il turismo culturale può offrire per uno sviluppo delle aree interne che sia place e community-based.

Radical geographical praxis can take many forms. The potential to enact incisive critique, transforming thoughts and the realm of action, is informed by multiple contingencies. Radicalness can be broadly defined as the ability to engage with root causes to enact social change. While these roots are long, intertwined and thickened around old and sedimented oppressions, how such issues are defined can be highly conjunctural. In the old adage about understanding the world to change it, engagement with how issues are envisaged and produced as issues is the chief challenge of a praxis that claims to be radical. Often, the possibility of engagement does not depend on researchers alone. For this reason, I arrange this short intervention around the idea of non-linear feminist politics of/for social and spatial justice research. I understand

La routine del pendolare si caratterizza per una serie di disagi e inconvenienti che, a lungo termine, possono esercitare un impatto negativo su salute e qualità della vita. Particolare attenzione è stata rivolta, finora, agli stressor oggettivi associati al pendolarismo (distanza percorsa, durata del viaggio); tuttavia, è innegabile il ruolo cruciale svolto dagli stressor soggettivi, che dipendono dal modo in cui il pendolare percepisce la propria condizione. Il presente lavoro si propone di descrivere il fenomeno del pendolarismo nella popolazione studentesca universitaria, prendendone in considerazione fattori stressanti oggettivi e soggettivi. Un questionario costruito ad hoc è stato compilato on-line da 2.643 studenti pendolari iscritti all'Università di Palermo. Sono stati valutati quattro fattori: Disagio associato al trasporto pubblico, Stato psico-fisico, Percezione della propria condizione di pendolare e Disagio associato al trasporto su strada. Gli studenti più giovani hanno dichiarato di percepire la propria condizione di pendolari più positivamente e hanno riportato meno disagio inerente il trasporto su strada rispetto agli studenti più anziani. Non sono state riscontrate, invece, differenze di genere. Nonostante i risultati emersi non siano generalizzabili su scala nazionale, il presente studio rappresenta il primo tentativo di valutare lo stress da pendolarismo negli studenti universitari.

Öz: Bu makalede, Bodrum Yarımadası'nın kuzeybatısında bulunan, kentsel sit alanı olarak tescillenmiş, Sandıma Köyü'ndeki yerel konutların mekân dizimi analizi sunulmaktadır. Yerel konut kurgusunun geçmişteki yaşam tarzlarına uygun olarak oluştuğu kabul edilerek, yerel mimarinin nelere cevap verdiğini anlamak açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu amaçla kullanılan mekân dizimi analiz yöntemi ile bulgular grafiksel ve sayısal olarak somutlaştırılmıştır. Sandıma Köyü'ndeki yerel konutlarda tipler arasındaki ve tiplerin dönem eki almaları sonucu ortaya çıkan farklılaşmayı belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Sandıma hakkında literatür çalışması yapılmış, teknik kişiler ile görüşmeler yapılarak restitüsyon projeleri, Yalıkavak (Bodrum) Sandıma Kentsel Sit Alanı Koruma Amaçlı Nazım ve Uygulama İmar Planı Revizyonu Plan Açıklama Raporu, Bilimsel Görüş Raporu verilerine ulaşılmıştır. Yerinde inceleme ve fotoğraflama sonucunda Sandıma'da tespit edilen 4 farklı plan tipine ait konut örnekleri ve bu örneklerin dönemsel aldıkları ekler ile dönüşümleri belgelenmiştir. Belirlenen konut örneklerine ait restitüsyon planları sayısal analiz yöntemi olan mekân dizimi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirme için mekân dizimi yöntemi dahilinde kullanılan 'Agraph' bilgisayar programı kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, Sandıma'daki farklı tiplerde yerel konutların, dönem ekleri almalarına rağmen, iç mekânsal kurgularında benzerlikler olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Konutların harabe durumda olmaları, geçmişte dönemsel ek almış olmaları ve dolayısıyla restitüsyon projelerine gerek duyulması araştırmayı zorlaştırmıştır. Konutların değişimi/dönüşümüne dair tarihsel bilgilerin bulunamaması nedeniyle dönem ekleri ve sosyolojik etkilerin açıklanması yetersiz olmuştur.

In the 2010s, several geolocative platforms focusing on LGBTQ heritage were launched. The heritage of these minority communities is characterised by fluidity and invisibility and subsequently alternative patterns of mobility. To tease out how LGBTQ heritage apps and websites deal with this demanding legacy, 22 of such platforms are examined, and their strategies of movement are compared with the mobilities suggested by dating apps, and other contemporary modes of motion. Although the platforms are restricted by standardised techniques of representing space and movement, they display a variety of approaches, motivations and aims-some of them adapting to the demands of official heritage and others moving more against such institutionalised notions of heritage. LGBTQ heritage platforms have a complex relationship with movement, which resonates with other forms of LGBTQ mobility, and potentially brings out the disorienting forces of desire in heritage.

IN 2024, AT THE SCHOOL OF CITIES
AND REGIONS

What a year 2024 has been—for all of us. Looking back at what we’ve achieved, there is much to be proud of. The Urban School marked its ninth year, preparing to soon celebrate its tenth anniversary. And 2024 was, without question, a year of consolidation and affirmation. A year marked by meaningful presence and rich, plural debates on all territorial matters—driven by a shared sense of
urgency and crisis, and by our determination to equip both ourselves and our students to confront them.

Foremost among them is what Anacláudia Rossbach, the new United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN-Habitat, has rightly defined not as a local is-sue, but as a planetary emergency: the housing crisis. But it is far from the only one. We are also witnessing the devastating consequences of deep political and diplomatic crises violence, war, destruction—and their spiral of hatred. Environmental, fiscal, infrastructural, and energy crises are equally pressing, bringing with them threats not only to health but also to democracy itself.

2024 was the year we closed ranks at the Urban School—coming together, reflecting collectively, and developing new programmes to strengthen in our students the capacities that crises demand: mediation, effectiveness, negotiation, and social dialogue. Not by chance, we opened the year with our very first Winter School, organised in collaboration with the CIVICA network of European universities. Designed for master’s students, it focused on negotiating conflicts in major environmentally significant projects.

This spirit of dialogue and pragmatism is perhaps best exemplified by two major intellectual events that marked the year across Sciences Po—events we highlight here, among many others. First, the launch of the Crisis Lab, under the scientific leadership of Olivier Borraz. The Lab provides knowledge, training, and research on how to prepare for and manage crises—an effort to produce insight and capacity without becoming paralysed by uncertainty. It is a major Sciences Po-wide initiative, but one from which our students are already beginning to benefit, including through reflections on how best to train future professionals in the urban and territorial fields.

Second, Sciences Po hosted urbanists from around the world for the Annual Congress of AESOP—the Association of European Schools of Planning—under the scientific direction of Marco Cremaschi and in partnership with the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics. It was the largest scientific gathering ever held at Sciences Po in terms of both scholars and sessions, and it was opened in tribute to the intellectual legacy of two towering figures of our institution: Henri Mendras and Bruno Latour. With powerful exchanges between political and social sciences and engineering disciplines, the event fostered deep interactions among students, academic researchers, applied practitioners, businesses, and public authorities. Its central theme—how innovation in regional planning can become a lever for governing ecological transition—was a strong state- ment of our 2024 focus. In short, we looked at how urban regions can act as game changers, simultaneously for social justice and for deep climate change mitigation.

In other words, in 2024, we all went back to school! Learning specialists,students, tutors, professors, alumni, lecturers and partner organisations came together. We consolidated and deepened our spaces for dialogue and co-production, opened our campus doors, made our work more public and accessible, and—true to our identity as a school—we placed ourselves at the school of cities and regions. We sought to learn from how urban and regional authorities across France, Europe, and beyond respond to crises, govern policies, services, and infrastructure, acknowledge their errors, and grapple with today’s political conflicts.

In the following pages, you will discover how we did this, with whom, and the wide range of themes our teaching and research programmes addressed—supported more strongly than ever by a growing ecosystem of scholars, professionals, and institutions. To all of them, we extend our heartfelt thanks for this remarkable 2024.

O dossiê que temos o prazer de apresentar articula textos que fazem uma interlocução com os temas de pesquisa debatidos pelo Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Antropologia Contemporânea -GEPAC 3 . As discussões levadas a cabo giram em torno de problemáticas que emergem no contexto de globalização desigual e de mundialização cultural, em que as ciências humanas retomam a preocupação com o sujeito e a ação histórica, após a viragem estruturalista. Cenário que coloca novos desafios à antropologia, em face da apropriação do conceito de cultura para fora da disciplina, tendendo-se a essencializá-lo nos movimentos sociais, justamente quando a antropologia o problematiza e processualiza, introduzindo a desordem nos paradigmas clássicos, que domesticaram a subjetividade, o indivíduo e a história (OLIVEIRA, 1997, p.107). Nesse contexto, não só ganham força contribuições como as de Pierre Bourdieu (2002, com sua teoria da prática e sua proposta de uma ciência social reflexiva, e de Marshall Sahlins ( ), com sua antropologia histórica, como também as da antropologia interpretativa, e sua variação "pós-moderna". Esta última encetará o diálogo com os autores pós-coloniais -

User and citizen participation in the form of micro-actions scripted by digital systems has become indispensable to the functioning of government and society. In this article, we introduce the concept of 'infrastructural participation' to evaluate this phenomenon and investigate empirical instances of it in four topical areas: automated vehicles, digital education, citizen science and data protection. We formulate four societal challenges arising from infrastructural participation: 1) the resourcification of engagement, whereby digital participation becomes a mechanism for extracting people's data, work and attention to serve as resources for value generation by industry and state, 2) growing infrastructural dependency of the public sector on the private sector, 3) the 'infra-structuring' of persons-i.e. asymmetric, interactive categorisation-by digital technology, and 4) knowledge deficits and power asymmetries. We also identify an alternative form of infrastructural participation that has potential to empower social actors and strengthen relations between innovation and society, namely 'epistemic participation' by non-experts in governance, innovation and research. To conclude, we call for the development of society-centric approaches to digital participation to address the above challenges and realise potential benefits.

Gentrification is a growing phenomenon in
Dhaka, with significant socio-economic consequences for its
inhabitants. While gentrification brings modernization,
improved infrastructure, and investment, it also exacerbates
housing inequality, displaces long-standing communities, and,
on top of that, undermines social cohesion. Over the past few
decades, Dhaka’s urbanization has been fueled by fast
growing populations, migration from rural areas, as well as
increased investment in infrastructure. Additionally, this city
has expanded outward, with newer developments replacing
older neighborhoods. As a result, areas historically
characterized by affordable housing and home to low-income
populations are now witnessing increasing property values
and large-scale urban renewal projects. Although
gentrification has been extensively studied in the Global North,
its impact in Dhaka is a relatively recent area of research. This
paper examines the spatial and socio-economic consequences
of gentrification, focusing on neighborhoods that were
previously accessible to low-income groups but are now
experiencing widespread rental inflation and development
driven displacement. Using qualitative interviews with
displaced residents and housing developers alongside spatial
analysis, this study reveals that displacement follows a
localized, multi-stage pattern with affected households
relocating to adjacent lower-cost or peri-urban areas.
Findings indicate that the absence of inclusionary zoning and
other regulatory mechanisms allows market-driven
urbanization to intensify housing inequality, reinforcing socio
spatial segregation. This study argues that adopting
inclusionary zoning policies could offer a viable strategy to
balance urban growth with social equity. In the absence of
such intervention, Dhaka risks deepening its housing crisis
with low-income communities increasingly pushed toward
peripheral and environmentally vulnerable areas.

Pavements in Alun Kapuas Park constribute 63% of run-off water over the capacity of the soil to infiltrate. This water will potentially causes the flooding and puddling issues. This research shows that there is correlation between the surface types and the run-off water. Therefore, the proportional design of surface types is needed as alternative solution to address flooding issue. ➢ According to Geddes & Watson (2016), greenery in urban park is not there just to please the eye and create livable public areas, but it also helps mitigate the risk of flooding ➢ An increase of the impermeable surface causes an increase in the volume of runoff water because of the reduction in rainfall infiltration into the soil (Wong dkk. 2000). ➢ Thesis statement: The varieties of surface affect the amount of run-off water in urban park.

Minipivovarnictví je v České republice průmyslovým odvětvím, které díky svému dynamickému růstu v posledních letech co do počtu nově vzniklých provozů nemá obdoby. Minipivovary se svou charakteristikou stávají jak protipólem globalizovaných průmyslových odvětví, tak i jejich doplňkem, přičemž jsou typické svým důrazem na lokální úroveň. Díky tomu se minipivovary stávají předmětem studia kulturní a ekonomické geografie, kdy se na nich zkoumají koncepce a přístupy z těchto geografických směrů vycházející. Tato práce má za cíl na vybraném vzorku minipivovarů v Pardubickém kraji a v Praze zkoumat faktory, které vedly k založení minipivovarů a k jejich konkrétnímu umístění. Dále se pokouší zjistit, nakolik lze rozvoj minipivovarů vysvětlit pomocí konceptů neolokalismu a glokalizace. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly tři společné faktory, kterými byly hlubší vztah k pivu, odkaz na tradici a navazování na dosavadní podnikatelskou činnost. Araştırmanın Temelleri: Küreselleşme sürecinin hızlanmasıyla birlikte, çevre sorunları da küresel bir nitelik kazanmıştır. Çevre sorunlarının küresel nitelik kazanması, bu sorunları ele alış ve çözüm mantığını da değiştirmiştir. İnsanlığın geleceğini tehdit eder boyutlara ulaşan çevre sorunlarıyla mücadele etmenin ulus devlet bazında imkânsızlaştığı anlaşılarak, küresel çevre sorunlarıyla mücadelede mutlaka uluslar arası ölçekte etkili bir işbirliği mekanizmasının geliştirilmesi, işbirliğinin de ötesinde yeni tip yaklaşımların benimsenmesi gereği ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırmanın Amacı: Çalışmanın birinci amacı, kamu maliyesi literatürüne 1990'lı yıların sonlarında girmiş olan küresel kamusal mallar kavramını ve küresel çevre politikaları açısından irdelemektir. Bu doğrultuda, öncelikle çevrenin bir küresel kamusal mal olduğu ve bu gerçekten hareketle yeni küresel çevre politikalarının oluşturulmasında küresel kamusal mallar çerçevesinin kullanılması gerektiği kuramsal olarak ortaya konulacaktır. Bunun yanında, küresel çevre politikalarında güncel diğer farklı yaklaşımlar da küresel kamusal mallarla birlikte ele alınacaktır. Çalışmanın ikincil amacı ise, kuramsal olarak henüz gelişme aşamasında olan küresel kamusal mallar teorisinin Türkiye'de de tartışılmasına katkı sağlamaktır. Veri Kaynakları: Çalışma, temelde kuramsal bir değerlendirme çalışmasıdır. Bu nedenle, özellikle küresel kamusal mallar teorisinin alt yapısı oluşturulurken uluslar arası literatürden yararlanılmıştır. Küresel çevre politikalarının değerlendirilmesi konusunda ise hem yabancı hem de Türkçe kuramsal çalışmalardan yararlanılmıştır. Ana Tartışma ve Sonuçlar: Günümüzde, çevre sorunları; sınır aşan, ülkeler arası karşılıklı bağımlılık içeren, küresel bir sorun haline gelmiştir. Doğal olarak, ülkelerin sınırlarını aşan ve küresel bir nitelik taşıyan çevre sorunlarının çözümünü hedefleyen politikaların da, küresel düzeyde yeniden tasarlanması gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, küresel çevre sorunlarının çözümü, ulus devletlerin kapasitesini aşmakta ve uluslar arası kuruluşların bu sürece daha etkin bir şekilde dahil olmasını gerekli kılmaktadır. Küresel çevre sorunlarının çözümünde ve politikalar oluşturulması sürecinde küresel kamusal mallar teorisinden yararlanma düşüncesi oldukça yenidir. Çevrenin kamusal bir mal olarak ele alınması, dahası küresel kamusal mal olarak değerlendirilmesi, küresel düzeydeki çevresel sorunların çözümünde, sorunların ele alınış biçimlerine de yeni bir bakış açısı getirmiştir. Çevrenin küresel bir kamusal mal olarak ele alınması, çevre sorunlarının yarattığı dışsal maliyetler, ortak kullanım, mülkiyet sorunu, finansman ve çevre koruma hizmetlerinin etkin bir şekilde sunumu gibi çevre politikalarının çok önemli unsurlarının daha sistematik bir şekilde ele alınması sonucunu doğurabilecek bir yaklaşım olarak düşünülebilir. Küresel çevre politikaları konusunda küresel kamusal malların dışında, "küresel yönetişim" ve Dünya Çevre Örgütü"'nün kurulması düşünceleri, söz konusu politikaların ele alınış biçimlerinin önemli ölçüde değiştiğini göstermektedir.

Esta revisión sistemática tiene dos objetivos: identificar y clasificar los tipos de gentrificación mediante el método PRISMA, y reconocer su manifestación en el territorio mexicano. Para ello, se empleó la guía actualizada PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews), considerando los principales ítems metodológicos: criterios de elegibilidad, fuentes de información, estrategia de búsqueda, recopilación y lista de datos. A través del análisis GEPHI, se llevó a cabo la identificación y clasificación sistemática de los tipos de gentrificación a nivel global. Como resultado, se identificaron 42 tipos de gentrificación, de los cuales 11 se manifestaron en el territorio mexicano, principalmente en los estados del centro del país, con presencia en áreas turísticas de la región noroeste, centro-occidente y suroccidente. Estos tipos abarcan categorías como reinversión, turística, comercial, rural, alimentaria, verde, empresarial, sensibilidades, cultural, transnacional y post-catástrofe. Los hallazgos contribuyen a una mejor comprensión de la gentrificación en el contexto latinoamericano.


This systematic review has two objectives: to identify and classify types of gentrification using the PRISMA method and to recognize their manifestation in the Mexican territory. To achieve this, the updated PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews) guidelines were employed, considering key methodological items such as eligibility criteria, information sources, search strategy, data collection, and data listing. Through GEPHI analysis, a systematic identification and classification of gentrification types at a global level was conducted. As a result, 42 types of gentrification were identified, 11 of which were observed in Mexico, primarily in central states, with occurrences in tourist areas of the northwest, central-west, and southwest regions. These types include reinvestment, tourism- related, commercial, rural, food-based, green, corporate, sensitivity-based, cultural, transnational, and post-disaster gentrification. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of gentrification within the Latin American context.

O objetivo do trabalho consistiu em compreender e registrar como a expulsão da escola de samba Vai-Vai, para a construção de uma estação de metrô, foi vivenciada pela comunidade identificada com esse importante lugar de memória do bairro paulistano do Bixiga. Como recurso metodológico, realizamos entrevistas em profundidade com seis atores sociais do bairro cujas histórias de vida estão ligadas ao samba e/ou a coletivos culturais do bairro. A análise, guiada pelo Modelo Analítico para Estudo da Consciência Política, de Salvador Sandoval (1994), deixa evidente o sentimento de injustiça presente na comunidade, que avalia que as perdas causadas à memória e à identidade do bairro poderiam ter sido evitadas.

Il presente contributo prende le mosse dai risultati di una lunga ricerca sul campo (circa 7 anni, dal 2005 al 2013) relativa alla borgata di Tiburtino III (Maggioli, Morri, 2006, 2009a, 2011; Morri, Maggioli et al., 2013), un parallelepipedo che, nelle periferia orientale di Roma, si sviluppa nel senso della lunghezza tra via Tiburtina e via Collatina

EDITORIAL par Jean-Michel Thénard L e nombrilisme, dernier avatar du socialisme à la française? Le risque est grand qu'à l'issue du congrès du PS de la mi-novembre les Français demeurent convaincus que le premier parti de la gauche n'est «tourné que vers lui-même», ses rivalités de boutique et ses querelles de prétendants à l'investiture présidentielle. Où est ce «projet mobilisateur et susceptible d'être mis en oeuvre» sans lequel la gauche ne peut espérer redevenir une force attractive? Il y a quelques semaines, Lionel Jospin s'inquiétait de ne pas le voir et craignait pour 2007 («nous espérons l'alternance, mais rien n'est moins sûr»). Convenons qu'il n'est pas le seul et que la logique qui voudrait qu'après douze ans de chiraquisme à l'Elysée le socialisme s'y réinstalle n'a aujourd'hui rien d'évident. Le grand vide idéologique règne face à une droite qui, avec Nicolas Sarkozy, tente d'annexer un «parler vrai» qu'elle travestit en «parler peuple» et monopolise le débat pour ravir à l'opposition son rôle d'alternative. Sécurité, immigration, travail, délocalisations, privatisations, réforme fiscale et de l'Etat, sur tous ces sujets, la majorité garde le rythme et oblige la gauche à jouer en défense. Elle prétend à la fois incarner la continuité et la rupture, selon une dialectique habile d'occupation du terrain. Son obsession présidentielle la pousse paradoxalement à davantage incarner ses ambitions de personne dans des idées quand, à l'inverse, à gauche, cela conduit à l'effacement de la réflexion pour ne laisser affleurer que les ambitions. Comme quoi si la présidentielle vampirise bien la vie politique française, il ne faut pas y chercher la cause première de la panne intellectuelle des socialistes. La supprimerait-on que mille idées ne refleuriraient pas sur le champ de ce côté-là. Parce que le monde a changé, la gauche aujourd'hui est en mal de vision pour changer le monde. Parce que la vie de beaucoup s'est précarisée, elle n'arrive plus à convaincre qu'elle peut changer la vie. La mondialisation a tout emporté, les vieilles lunes et quelques plus récentes. Les réformistes sont les plus touchés par la vague parce qu'ils sont soumis à la cohérence entre promesses et actions, à l'inverse de la gauche radicale qui ne se nourrit que de l'échec des premiers. Quel avenir pour la gauche? .
